Refunds

This policy covers deposits, cancellations, rescheduling, and refunds for payroll audit engagements with API Integration Now.

Eligibility

Refunds apply to fees paid for engagements that are cancelled under the conditions below. Informational website use has no purchase and no refund.

Deposits

A 40% deposit typically reserves the audit window. The deposit is credited toward the final fee. Deposits become non-refundable once sampling of client documents has begun, except where we cancel the engagement.

Full refund

If we cancel before work starts, you receive a full refund of amounts paid. If you cancel in writing at least ten business days before the agreed start date and no document review has begun, the deposit is refunded minus a 5,000 TWD administration fee.

Partial refund

If you cancel after document review has started but before the draft findings are issued, we refund the unused portion of fees after deducting time already spent at the agreed rate, documented in a short summary. Once the draft findings memo (or equivalent deliverable) is issued, fees for completed stages are non-refundable.

Non-refundable items

Rush surcharges for inspection-response engagements, third-party retrieval fees you authorized, and completed on-site visit days are non-refundable.

Rescheduling

You may reschedule once without charge if you give at least seven business days’ notice and we have calendar capacity. Later changes may incur a rescheduling fee of 8,000 TWD or require a new estimate.

No-shows

Missed kickoff or findings meetings without 24 hours’ notice may be billed as a session fee if our team reserved the slot.

Work already started

Time spent on sampling, recalculation, and drafting is billed even if you later pause the engagement. We deliver work completed to date upon settlement of outstanding amounts.

Process and timing

Email refund requests to hello@apiintegrationnow.digital with the engagement reference and reason. We confirm eligibility within five business days and process approved refunds within fourteen business days to the original payment method where possible.

Exceptions

Mandatory consumer protections under Taiwan law take precedence where they apply. Engagement-specific letters may set tighter inspection deadlines; those letters control if they conflict with this general policy.
