Origin
The practice grew out of repeated year-end close crises where payroll totals looked tidy until someone recalculated a single overtime week. Founders who had sat through labor bureau visits and multi-entity consolidations wanted a quieter way to surface gaps before the notice arrived.
Mission
Deliver payroll audit work that names specific records, owners, and next steps — so finance and HR leave with a checklist, not a vague sense that “things look fine.”
